Neutrogena Oile Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Cleanser Face wash review

So each and every time I hop on a plane I forget things. Going to visit my sister was no exception.

This time I managed to forget face wash.So after flying on a dry plane and two greasy meals you can imagine my happiness upon my awakening the next morning and having my niece point to my forhead and said "boo boo?"

I saw later while brushing my teeth I had a monster of a pimple starting.

With an inward groan I asked my sister if there was any face wash in her bathroom I could use and she said "Use the pink stuff it smells divine!"

It was there that I picked up the bottle of Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit foaming face scrub.

Honestly my first memories of neutrogena are the clear bars of that odd smelling soap that dries your face out but is supposed to be so good for acne but was always so bad for mine.

So naturally at first I was thinking "This is going to dry my skin out".

But urged on by my sister clucking at me like a chicken, and the behemoth growing on my forhead I used it.

My sister told me only to use it once a day at night and that my skin wouldn't dry out.

With one eyebrow raised, I followed her directions and much to my surprise not only did my seymour shrink down but my other small acne spots were less noticable too.

My skin did feel a little tight at times and I did have to use a drop of oil free lotion after using the scrub on very cold nights perhaps 3 out of the 14 nights I used it.

Over all I wouldn't let those few times deter me from making this my once every third day use scrub or something to replace my more costly Oil of Olay scrub.

I also notice that it comes in a non scrub formula, and a body wash which I would be interested in using on my fiance who suffers from the man back-acne. I would be interested in trying that, for the smell alone.

All in all I would say that this product is worth the money and while cannot claim to be a gentle cleanser, it is an effective and not overly harsh cleanser for fair to medium oily skin that breaks out in the t-zone.

I also have eczema and it didn't make my eczema flair up which surprised and pleased me.

So if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive, citrusy, effective but gentle cleanser check out the Neutrogena Oil free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub it may be just what you were looking for.
