My friend had recommended it to me because she had used it and said she looked great, so I took her word for it, and bought it. I went home and did exactly as the directions say to do. I sprayed it evenly all over my legs avoiding overdoing the cracks and crevices that could possibly turn orange. I also made sure I kept the spray at a steady flow and at the distance they recommended I keep it from my body.
This product takes a few hours for the results to show up, so I patiently waited and after hours passed, I was mortified by the extreme dark color and the streaks that appeared on my legs. I do not know what else I could have done to make this product work successfully on my skin. I purposefully bought the lightest shade they offer so that the effects would not be too dramatic, followed all of the directions, and applied the spray so carefully, but I think the huge downfall of this product is the inability for the color to show up right away.
If I am going to be manually changing the color of my skin, it is crucial that I be able to see what I am doing and where I have applied the tanner already. With this product, I was not able to see my mistakes until hours later, and by then, it was too late because once you spray over what is there already, you also partially spray over other areas that have already been darkened. Then you ultimately end up with three different shades of tan, and probably still some white patches where you completely missed every time you tried.
This ridiculous "tan" that I had was still not fading after a week, so I rubbed it off as hard as I could in the shower one day and it crumbled off little by little.
I do not recommend this product, especially to those with pale skin like myself. The color change is simply too drastic and every little mistake shows up like a soar thumb. I think the only reason why my friend liked it is because she naturally has very dark skin, so any mistake she made did not show up as much. Therefore, she got slightly tanner, but did not look ridiculous and streaked like I did.

Post a CommentOh, one more thing, I have used lower quality products in the past, and just use baby oil to remove the tan.
I've been using this product since it became available, and have never had a problem with streaking or looking orange. When I apply it heavier on my arms and legs, I'll rub it in with my hands to make sure there are no streaks, and wash my hands immediately.
sorry your tan didng work out for you! But ive been using this product for almost a year now, and i get a perfect tan each and everytime i apply it. hmm, shitty, eh?
