Neutrogena Ultra Dry Touch Sunscreen is fast-drying and light and spreads on evenly with no heavy residue left behind. Most competitor's sunscreens usually feel oily and greasy, but Neutrogena's is hardly noticeable, even after a long day outdoors with more than one application. It also has a mild scent that fades quickly and smells more like a light lotion than typical sunscreens. Neutrogena's sunscreen is non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog pores. After wearing this product daily for nearly two weeks, there were no blemishes or adverse reactions.
This sunscreen uses avobenzone and oxybenzone to protect against long and short-wave UVA rays that can cause damage. Neutrogena Ultra Dry Touch Sunscreen up against sunburn on a cloudless day in nearly 90 degree weather. After five hours, no sunburn or pink traces were visible on the skin. For water use, apply this product about a half hour before hitting the beach and enjoy swimming and lounging. Avoid vigorously drying your skin with a towel to keep the sunscreen intact. Even after swimming in salt water, the Neutrogena sunscreen prevented sunburn after four hours.
Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55 uses Helioplex to keep the sunscreen working for up to five hours. It's lightweight and nearly odorless formula means it's easy to forget you're wearing it even if you apply it twice a day for up to ten hours of protection. It won't run into your eyes while sweating and doesn't cause blemishes or break-outs.
This sunblock is more expensive than some of its competitors and retails for about $10.99 during 2009. The bottle is also small and sometimes it's hard to get enough sunscreen out to cover you're entire body. And when you're using an expensive 3 oz bottle, it's easy to want to skimp on applying it over all of your skin. You can consider using the Neutrogena on your face and use a less expensive option on your arms and legs.
Neutrogena Ultra Dry Touch Sunscreen is an excellent choice to keep your skin looking great when you're outdoors. It's fast drying and nearly odorless an easy product to add to your daily routine. It also holds up against break-outs, sweat, water, and sunburn. However, the cost is considerably high for a 3 oz bottle and is hard to get out enough sunscreen to cover your entire body.
