50 Cent will also rap on Eminem's upcoming album Relapse and he will also be featured on Dr. Dre's Detox as well as D12's upcoming album. 50 Cent has also been giving us updates on when one of his associates albums are coming out or what is going on with the new albums. He has become sort of a spokesman for Shady/Aftermath. He also has a new video game out as well. 50 Cent is quite the entrepreneur, selling vitamin water, video games, candy and records. As well as owning his own record label, G-Unit Records, and signing several prominent rappers including Mobb Deep.
50 has also stirred up trouble with Rick Ross and the two are embattled in a lyrical war. They have both released several diss tracks against each other. It remains to be seen whether this feud will make it to 50's "Before I Self Destruct" Album. 50 Cent is excited for "Before I Self Destruct" and this is going to be a big year for Shady/Aftermath with all the albums coming out that are on the Shady/Aftermath label.
50 Cent has yet to duplicate the success he reached on his debut album Get Rich or Die Trying, he has had success on his other albums but not as much as his debut album did. This is usually the case with artist these days especially in the era of P2P file sharing as well. 50 Cent is against music piracy as most musicians are and is one of the more active pursuers of people who pirate his music. Eminem and Dr. Dre are also very active in the P2P music piracy scene as well.
In conclusion, 50 Cent's album "Before I Self Destruct" has been pushed back to later in 2009. It will be released after Eminem's Relapse album comes out. This album is highly anticipated and the other releases on Shady/Aftermath are highly anticipated as well. Look for the album to drop in the fall of 2009.
