Several new screenshots from Gaijin Entertainment's upcoming helicopter combat simulator Apache: Air Assault for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have just been released. Locations in Gaijin Entertainment's upcoming game range from "the jungles of Central America to the mountains of Central Asia." Check them out in the attached slideshow.

Gaijin Entertainment isn't a stranger to flight simulations. They were the developer of IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey. Apache: Air Assault features lets players sit in the seat of several different types of helicopters.

"Whether you decide to fight alone or with a co-pilot in one of the 16 multi-stage missions, Apache aims to be as realistic as possible in order for player(s) to feel the rush and adrenaline of a military operation and the precision and detail needed to complete an objective. From the real-world satellite photography used to make the environments to the simulation controls, players will feel every missile, cannon, and bump in the air a war-torn sky have to offer."

Apache: Air Assault for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be available on November 9th, 2010. For more information on Apache: Air Assault for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, visit www.activision.com.
