The new Audi A6 will be available in four engine variants- the 3.0L turbo TFSI, 2.8L FSI, 3.0L TDI and 2.7L TDI. The engines are equipped to deliver high efficiency and power. The 3.0 L turbo TFSI is an engine from the new generation, developed by Audi engineers. A6 will be available in six attractive colours.
The car will sport a new exterior design that emphasizes a dominant personality.
The new Audi A6 will boast of new accents that emphasized its strong personality. It features a single frame grille, body colored bumpers, fog lights, and a sleek hood. The new A6 gets a refined looks with horizontal strips of six LED daytime running lights. The interiors are accentuated by higher levels of design. It is loaded with advanced Multi-Media Interface (MMI) system which aids better control of interior functions. The instrument panel has been given higher resolution graphics and a new frame that offers better readability.
The rear seats have been re-defined and comfort has been enhanced. Elaborate features in the cabin help cut down the outside noise by almost half, offering the passenger a peaceful ride.
Talking about it to the media, the managing director of Audi India, Mr. Benoit Tiers said "the Audi A6 has been the most successful business sedan worldwide. It has been one of the main contributors for our success in Indian luxury car market. The new A6 sports a thrilling design, luxurious interiors, powerful engines and a dynamic performance. It has been equipped to offer lower fuel consumption. The 2009 Audi A6 will be a key player in the Indian car market,"
Audi has pinned high hopes on the new A6 which is also entered U.S and other bigger markets. The company has high hopes on riding into the future with the A6 sedan.The prices of the new A6 start from Rs 38.57 Lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). This is two Lakh below the 2008 model.
