New Blue Bunny Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwich Double Strawberry '" Product Review
A Blue Bunny Frozen Yogurt Novelty Treat
Then, one day while picking up ice cream at the local Giant Food, I spotted these granola/yogurt sandwiches in the ice cream aisle. They reminded me of a yogurt breakfast sandwich that used to be available not long ago but had been discontinued.
The New Blue Bunny Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwich looked pretty good on the box cover, but seeing the brand caused me pause. I saw that the frozen yogurt granola sandwiches were available in both chocolate and strawberry flavors. The box pictures of both flavors looked very good. They weren't on sale at this particular time, but I reasoned that at 180 calories they could serve as a good crave blocker for me and possibly satisfy my sweet tooth if need be. With that in mind, I purchased a 6 pack box of the New Blue Bunny Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwich in the Double Strawberry flavor.
The Double Strawberry variety of the New Blue Bunny Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwich is made of '˜strawberry low fat frozen yogurt with a thick swirl of strawberry fruit filling, sandwiched between honey oat granola wafers.'
When the time came to indulge in this new yogurt granola confection, I noted that at 3.75 fl. Oz. the yogurt granola sandwiches were a decent size and came individually wrapped with 6 to a box.
The yogurt/granola sandwiches were firm but soft. The granola wafers held together nicely, but also broke and gave way easily if broken or bitten into. They granola itself was soft and had a nice enjoyable honey/oat flavor.
The yogurt filling was also enjoyable. Soft and flavorable with a light strawberry taste, accompanied by stronger '˜boosts' of strawberry flavor in the thick swirls of sweet strawberry fruit filling.
I was actually pleased with this new Blue Bunny dessert product!
I noted that the Blue Bunny Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwich Double Strawberry box claimed that this product had '˜Probiotic Cultures which May Help Support Immune and Digestive Health! It also claimed to be a '˜Good Source of Calcium and Fiber.' Wow! Lots of good benefits in this snack!
Unfortunately, as I read further in the ingredient list I did find that it included the dreadful High Fructose Corn Syrup. Still, it could always be worse! And, with these being low in fat, calories and cholesterol, yet offering fiber, protein, vitamin C, Iron, and Calcium, along with a good flavor, I'm sure I'll be purchasing these again! Score one for Blue Bunny!
