New Bohemian Hipster Vs. Belted Preppy Chic

I first thought something must be in the water. What's with all of these hippies in San Francisco? Confirmed; it's definitely something in the water. They're everywhere.

"Maybe it's a fad," I said to myself as I shopped for holiday serveware. (By the way, I found some great coasters made from real guava wood - great find.)

As I scoped out the showroom floor, I realized a new style is emerging from this old-school soul bohemian. It's a new bohemian hipster. The new style makers are knitted beret, plaid scarf-wearing hipsters. From LA's Los Feliz to San Francisco's up-and-coming Mission District, it's new bohemian tunics belted and layered with over-sized handbags. It's the birth of the new chic urbanite.

This could, however, be just a fad, soon to be just a thought that has come and gone.
