New Breakthrough Vaccine for Cervical Cancer

Gardasil is a new vaccine that may help protect girls and young women ages 9 to 26 from four types of human papillomavirus, the types of virus that may cause 70% of cervical cancer, and 90% of genital warts.Gardasil is one of the first vaccine made for cancer. Gardasil is not a treatment for cervical cancer, and genital warts.Gardasil is also not a treatment, or a cure for HIV or any other type of STD's. Only your doctor can decide if gardasil is right for you. It is still very important to have regular pap tests, gardasil may not fully protect everyone, and does not prevent all types of cervical cancer. Gardasil is given as an injection, the first dose is given at a date that you, and your doctor decides, and the second dose is two months after the first dose, and the third dose is given six months after the first dose. It is a total of three injections, be sure to get all three doses if for some reason you happen to miss a dose check with your doctor as soon as possible.

Gardasil have not been test for how long it could last, so it could last for a few years or more cause of the studies duration this information is not available at this time, but is still being observed for the longevity of this vaccine. Gardasil contains amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate, sodium chloride, l-histidine, polysorbate 80, sodium botare so if you are allergic to any of the ingredients you shouldn't take this vaccine. If you should have any allergic reaction after getting a dose of this vaccine you shouldn't take this vaccine and consult your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant you shouldn't take gardasil. If you have any type of bleeding disorder and can't get injections in your arms, or have a weak immune system due to a genetic defeat, or HIV infection,or any other type disease you shouldn't take this vaccine. Cervical cancer is a very serious disease that can be life threatening, this disease is caused by certain HPV. HPV is a common virus it is many different types of HPV some even causes no harm at all, the virus can go away on it's own, but sometime if it don't go away it can cause cervical cancer. HPV types can cause the cells in the lining of the cervix to change from normal to precancerous lesions, if not treated they can turn cancerous. Their are common side effects of gardasil, the most commonly side effects are pain, swelling, itching, fever, nausea, dizziness, also redness at the injection site. If you or your child have any unusual or severe symptoms after receiving gardasil, or difficulty breathing contact your doctor right away. Gardasil is very new so be sure to check with your personal doctor before trying out this vaccine or any vaccine for that matter.
