New Burritos from 7-Eleven

They Are Convenient, but Do They Taste Good and Provide Good Value.

I must say I like burritos. They are usually a good quick snack and something I can eat on the go or in my car during a commute. Typically when people think of a burrito they usually think of Taco Bell. I will not say that the 7-Eleven is a gourmet Mexican restaurant, but I will say that I found these burritos to be a fair price and pretty tasty. They are all placed on the same roller than they cook hot dogs on. It looks like what they do is let them cook on a higher roller then once they are done put them on a warming roller. They are not huge. They are a tad smaller than a quarter pound Big Bite without the bun to give you an idea.

They are available in three varieties available. There is a sausage egg and cheese breakfast version, a bean and cheese version and a chicken, cheese, jalapeno and onion version. The only version that I can find calories for is the sausage burrito version. It has 300 calories, 8 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbohydrates, and 12 grams of protein. My favorite is the sausage burrito. It is satisfying and has a good taste to it. I personally don't like the bean and cheese version, but that is more of a preference than anything actually wrong with it. If you like bean and cheese burritos you will like this. The chicken version tastes reasonable good, but I prefer the other flavors much better. The chicken tastes very processes to me and it seems like there is not very much chicken in the burrito to begin with. I will say that I think chicken burritos from Taco bell taste much better. They are usually much more expensive as well. The sausage burrito is a tad more expensive than the $1 value menu breakfast burrito available at McDonald's. I also believe McDonald's to have a better taste, but not by a large amount. Both are very tasty for breakfast. You also don't get tempted with hash browns at 7-Eleven. The price of these will vary from market to market. In the Mid-Atlantic region they were available any two for $2, but have since increased to $2.22
