-"Dream on America". The producers of The Bachelor came up with this new concept. If you have a dream that you want to come true, then this show is for you. They want big dreams and ideas, and the contestants that appear on the show will be voted on by the viewers at home. Call 1-888-934-1009 for more information and how to apply.
-"Easy Money". This is to be a new Prime Time game show where there is no real skill involved. They will base all the winning on "lady luck", so you would be winning based on chance and things such as coin tosses. For some reason I see gambler written all over this one. You have to be 21 or over and there are 3 ways to enter. You can attend an open casting call, submit a tape, or if you live in L.A you can set up an audition. Please see the link at the bottom of the page for more information.
-"Set For Life". This is a fast-paced game show where you win in a battle of 2 rounds. Round 1 is where you play to win the highest amount of money. Round 2 is where you "beat the odds and name your payday". Apparently you could end up with payments of $1000, $10000, or $50000 for months or years. They are trying to get people that would love to quick their jobs or pay off their bills and debts. They will have open castings, or they also accept videos submissions (which have a laundry list of different things they need). Check out the link at the bottom if you are interested.
-"Dream Project". This is kind of unique. They are looking for people that have a dream of , but no funds to complete it. The person needs to have a bunch of "junk" or "hidden treasures" and are willing to part with it by selling it on Ebay. There is a link at the bottom to get more information about this show. (Listed as National family search)
-"Couples Show". For this show they are looking for couples that need a "relationship tune-up". Apparently they will have relationship "gurus" that will be giving the couples tools to help with their relationship. You have to be in the relationship for at least one year, but don't have to be married or even live together. For more information call: 310-823-2822 ext. 4262 or email them at: abccouples@theconlincompany.com .
-"Fix My Husband". They are casting for this IMEDIATELY. If your husband has "issues" such as not being romantic, being a workaholic, or maybe he doesn't even resemble the man you married then they are looking for him! They want married couples 21 and older. They will take the selected husbands and give them pointers and so forth within a weeks time. Couples that participate will receive a "custom storybook ending". There are many ways to contact them about this show. If you live in NY, NJ, or CT then you can call 917-678-9996. If you live around Minneapolis then you can call 612-339-6141. You can also email them at fixmyhusbandcasting@yahoo.com .
-"You Are What You Eat". ABC will have a highly regarded nutritionist on the show pointing out the bad things as well as the good things you are putting into your body and how it affects you. I think they are looking for fast food junkies and probably sugar fiends. If you want to change your eating habits and apply, you can go to the link at the bottom of the page.
Other current shows will be returning for their next season. The following list shows which ones they are casting for currently. All guidelines for submissions can be obtained by following the link at the bottom of the page.
-Supper Nanny.
-Wife Swap
-The Bachelor
-The Bachelorette
-Extreme Makeover
-Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
-American Inventor
So there you have it. Another mind-numbing laundry list of shows that yet another network has come up with so each and every one of us can have our 15 minutes of fame. If you're lucky, your 15 minutes will turn out to be 15 years of fame like Omarosa. God speed my fellow game show and reality TV show junky.
