We went to get our food and when I got the things that I wanted which didn't consist of the item that I wanted most which was sashimi sushi we sat down to our table to find that the food that was on our plate was luke warm at best. I bit into the soggy coconut shrimp and immediately decided that it wasn't fit to eat. My husband tried to decide whether his first bite was going to be a badly browned piece of salad or a piece of imitation crab meat that was soaked heavily in imitation butter probably to hide the taste. Although our three year old was happy with his bites of what looked to be microwaved pizza it reminded us of a 3.00 off the strip bad buffet in Vegas. Well at least in Vegas the drinks were refilled more then once without any hesitation so I give more of a second chance to the Vegas buffet.
At the end of our meal which consisted of maybe 5-6 bites off our plates we were given the check and for 28.00 I could have stayed home and had left overs COLD out of the fridge and been more satisfied. I walked up to pay for our check which for the food was incredibly high and told the manager that the food was cold and that I would never be back his reply was that it was cold "because they were cooking new food" absolutely ridiculous it amazes me that the local health dept. hasn't been there to shut the place down. The same man with that greeted us with the snarl at the door acted as if he didn't care about his customers or the experience that they had there. One thing is for sure he probably didn't count on someone that would take this information and make sure that others new how UN recommended there buffet was. I didn't expect it to be the 5 star steakhouse from downtown but a little bit of courtesy, and concern over the way the food tasted and was presented would have been nice. So one word of advice before deciding to drive on down to the New China Buffet "DONT" heat up the left overs and save yourself the disappointment.
