New Christmas Tree Decorating Ideas

A Girl Who No Longer Exists
Maybe you're bored of sprucing up your tree with the same red, green and gold trinkets. That doesn't mean you should just give up! Here are some new ideas to try out and, trust us, your tree will be the talk of the town:

*The Blessings Tree: cut out pieces of construction paper in festive holiday shapes, like stars, angels, reindeers, candy canes, or candles, and have your family list one of your blessings on each shape. Poke a small hole at the top of the shape and the end of a paperclip through it so that the shape hangs off of the paperclip. Hang the shape onto your tree and reflect on how grateful your family is to celebrate another holiday season.

*The Mixed Calendar Tree: Still have old Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations you don't know what to do with? Hang them on your tree to confuse all your holiday guests. You might even tear out sheets from small calendars and hang them on the tree using paperclips as hooks.

*The Birthday Tree: Have your kids forgotten what Christmas is really about? Break out the mini birthday cakes, plastic balloon ornaments and anything else birthday-related for a virtual trip back to Sunday school.
