A new thrift store that benefits critically ill children recently opened in Clinton Hill. Located Vanderbilt Avenue and the corner of Gates Avenue, Boutique Thrift has set up shop and is now open for business.
The shop was set up by a Chai Lifeline volunteer and opened on October 17, 2010. All proceeds from Boutique Thrift will go directly to Chai Lifeline.
According to Chai Lifeline, the organization has been donating proceeds to help children for the past 22 years.
The thrift store is also taking donations from members of the community. Items can be dropped off at the store at 469 Vanderbilt Avenue.
