The Wexford Group International Inc.: $63,059,962 for operations support for the Asymmetric Warfare Group. Asymmetric warfare is another term for non-traditional combat.
Taunton, Mass: $22,500,000 for system development and demonstration for the architecture of the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical System.
Head Inc.: $18,560,650 for 167th Airlift Wing base conversion from C-130 Hercules to C-5 Galaxy aircraft and extension and upgrade of a runway and taxiway for the Wing's use.
Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Company: $10,123,910 for small caliber ammunition items.
Alpine Diversified Inc.: $5,129,224 for the Rio De Flag Flood Control Project.
Several companies were each awarded a maximum of $96,000,000 for shelters, components and trailers that will support the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies. The companies listed in the press release include Alaska Structures, Inc., Base-X Expedition Shelters, DHS Systems, LLC, and Johnson Outdoors.
Anchor Industries and MMI-Federal Marketing Service Corporation were each awarded a maximum of $96,000,000 for a variety of shelters to be used by the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies, while Celina Tent, Inc. was awarded a maximum of $96,000,000 for humanitarian shelters.
Separately, Schutt Industries was awarded a maximum of $96,000,000 for a variety of shelters and trailers for use by the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.
Metals USA i-Solutions of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania was awarded a maximum of $9,900,000.00 for metals and metal products for the Army, Navy Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.
For hot weather combat boots for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company of Belleville, Illinois, Altama Footwear of Atlanta, Georgia, Wellco Enterprises of Waynesville, North Carolina, and Rocky Shoes and Boots of Nelsonville, Ohio were awarded a maximum of $25,173,000.00, $20,411,033.72, $15,113,428.50, and $6,448,040.47, respectively.
