New Eminem Album in 2009
Set for Fall of This Year
Relapse is certainly an interesting title for this album, does it imply that Eminem is on drugs again? This is most likely the case, and that will probably make for a better sounding album. Nothing could be worse then Encore Em' all your fans agree, don't let us down this time. 50 Cent is also coming out with a new album later this year and are we ever going to see Dr.Dre's detox come out?
Eminem's been out of the limelight for a while, making spot appearances here and there. He's had a rough couple of years with the death of his best friend, Proof as well as divorcing his wife Kim Mathers once again. Relapse is going to have some pretty heavy subject matter, that's for sure. Eminem is a great lyricist and with how long he's worked on this project it could be a classic.
Eminem's albums are pushed back a lot so it's no surprise to me relapse keeps getting pushed back. Dr.Dre's tracks keep getting leaked so maybe there is some concern. Maybe they are trying to find out who is selling them out. Or who has been selling them out and leaking there songs.
This could be it for Eminem he is 36 years old, that's right. 36, he's not a kid anymore and will be 37 a few weeks after his Relapse album drops.
If "Crack a Bottle" is any indication at all of what the album is going to sound like, it's going to be interesting. He has definitely switched his flow up and with Dr.Dre producing, Relapse might turn out to be a great album. The Eminem on "The Re-UP" was an interesting glance as to what this new CD might sound like as well.
In conclusion, The Relapse album is going to be Eminem's sixth studio album, it should "drop" sometime in September, thats the "word on the street" so everyone keep your eyes peeled and ears for news and alerts and I'll keep everyone informed.

Yes now they are saying September for Relapse 2 and May 19th for Relapse one, which is great, sorry about the confusion, I had an article say that it was all being pushed back to September which now appears to not be the case.
I just read on MTV.com that Eminem's new albums, "Relapse" and "Relapse 2" will both be released this year. "Relapse" is slated for May 19 and "Relapse 2" is slated for later this year. I can't wait, since he is definitely one of my favorite artists. I admire him for his courage to try to be a good father to his daughter and for trying to give his twice-failed marriage a fighting chance. Family first!
