Marquise Hill and an unidentified female friend had left late Sunday evening for a jet ski ride on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, LA. It is being reported that by the Associated Press that Mr. Hill and his friend were not wearing life jackets, which more then likely would have saved Mr. Hill's life, it is believed he eventually was drowned by high tides and waves. His friend according to the Boston Globe was found about 150 yards from the body of Marquise Hill holding onto a bridge piling.
Some background info on Marquise Hill according to the Patriot website is that he was born August 7th 1982 in New Orleans. He had been rated the best defensive lineman in the nation while still in high school.
