New England Patriots Schedule in 2010 Begins Sunday

Ryan Christopher DeVault
The 2010 New England Patriots schedule is set to begin against Cincinnati on Sunday. The 2010 New England Patriots schedule doesn't open with an easy stretch of games, and these Patriots will find themselves tested in both of their first two games. Week three they have Buffalo in what should be an easy game before Miami in week four and then a bye in week six. The question will be whether Tom Brady can get this team off on the right foot, and if they can prove that they can still compete in the AFC East. Three of their first four games are against divisional rivals, so it will be important for them to get off to a good start.

The major question mark for the New England Patriots in 2010 seems to be their defense, and whether they can hold opponent at bay enough to let the offense get into a rhythm. Their defense was one of the worst during the NFL preseason, but it is of course just the preseason, and may not be indicative of what they can do this year. On the other side of that coin was their offense, which was one of the best during the same preseason. New England will get the chance to prove very quickly if they are going to be in the same class as the New York Jets in the 2010 regular season, and they probably will be if the Jets can't get Derrelle Revis back on the field.

Not a fan of either team, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Bengals...
