Oh what a difference a day makes!
Yesterday the sun shone bright,
my well was full,
and the the impossible seemed possible.
Yet today has come,
the clouds have returned,
and the joy of life depleted.
Oh what a difference a day makes!
My eyes are re-opened,
the illusions are lifted,
and clearly I see my life.
No longer is there a dream to fore see,
for the impossible is just that to me.
Oh what a difference a day makes!
