The Frye Erin Riding Boot is a new addition to the women's Frye collection coming into the fall season of 2011. It is a worthy addition with a long and sleek soft leather upper, with slender and feminine buckled strap around the ankle and tops of the shaft. The shaft is about 16 inches, making it a long and tall look that will befit just about any lady's tastes. It comes in a couple of colors and will perhaps be available in more selection soon. Retail price for this boot is around $350.

This boot is one of a number of gorgeous long and tall riding boot styles for women this year, and is a force to be reckoned with! It looks to be one of the most looked for boots around, but here are some more to choose from if you would like to do some comparisons:

Frye Melissa Button Back Zip: Here is another long and sleek boot from the Frye Boot Company - the Melissa Button Back Zip is a convenient variation on the Melissa Button which was released more than a year ago, and is just as stylish. It has a tall boot shaft of 15 inches, and fastens with button straps behind the ankle as well as behind the boot shaft at the top. Already there appears to be quite a bit of attention on this boot even shortly after its release. It comes in quite a number of rich and beautiful colors and retails for around $330.

DV by Dolce Vita Lujan Boot: Here is a simpler and very elegant version of the tall leather boot for women this year - the DV by Dolce Vita Lujan has two points to make it stand out other than its height - the split collar at the top of the shaft and the subtle stitching. Like the other boots above it is crafted from soft and luxurious leather. It comes in Black and Brown versions and retails for around $220.

Dolce Vita Georgia Boot: Another long and sleek look comes into the fashion world with the Dolce Vita Georgia. This boot features a double strap that wraps around the foot and ankle area of the boot and gives this boot an edgy look with a lot of style. The shaft is about 15 inches, it has a look for the shaft that stands out with an asymmetrical shape. It comes in a few different colors and retails for around $310.

If the choice you make in a riding boot style is more toward the Frye Erin Riding Boot for women or another one of the styles listed above, chances are that you will more than enjoy the look and feel of these styles, and will take pride in wearing them.
