But, choosing a larger sized sofa for the small space can work well only if the sofa or piece of furniture is multi-functional. For instance, a normal size dining table can easily double up as an office/desk area making the table's use multipurpose.

Open small areas with clutter free living as nothing puts a strain on small spaces than clutter. Stick to wall coloring that is light or soft tones to keep the area fresh and inviting. Nothing makes small space appear even smaller than the area being overwhelmed with dark walls or rugs.
