New Items for Halloween in Pet Society - October 19, 2009

Welcome back to our weekly look at the new items in Pet Society on Facebook. This week, EVERYTHING is all about Halloween! There are many new items in the shops this week, so let's get right down to it!

First of all, if you've been looking to update your wardrobe, there's a clearance sale in the clothes store - prices slashed! Everything must go! After a week, they'll be gone.

Now, on to new items - you may have noticed the city is looking a little different. All the pretty green trees that provide us with coins have turned into spooky old trees! But they still give you a special treat - bump them and Halloween candy just might fall down. You can sell the candy for 1 coin, but if you feed it to your friends you'll get 2 coins, so you can double your money! Plus, feeding your friends will gain you 17 Paw Points - it's a great way to advance a level.

Speaking of spooky old trees, if you stop by the Garden Shop you can buy Halloween tree seeds which grow into a spooky old tree of your own, right in your garden. The new item Homegrown Halloween Tree looks like nothing would grow on it, but it actually bears Homegrown Halloween Lollies. The Garden Shop is also the place to buy another new item - Pumpkins for making your own Jack O'Lantern. Buy a Lantern base from the wide assortment, and then choose the eyes, nose, mouth and accessories you'd like to decorate it with. Don't forget the candle!

There are more new fish in the Pond this week, but you they can only be caught with a new item found in the Cash Shop. There are 5 new Halloween fish that you can catch with the new item Halloween Fish Biscuit. These fish also glow in the dark!

A few other special new items - Check out the Cash Shop for the new item Immortal Bat Wings - as if the regular bat wings weren't awesome enough! There's a new Witch Doll available in the Furniture store, which apparently will have some kind of spell to cast. If you're enjoying the new luminous items, there are quite a few new items this week which glow in the dark - check the list below for those. And the DIY Shop has Halloween Night Wallpaper and flooring so you can set up a scary outdoor scene.

There are a lot more decorations and costumes to buy - so check the lists below for all the new items available, along with pricing. Remember, anything marked (HS) will be Halloween items that will disappear from the stores on November 1.
