New Items in Pet Society - October 12, 2009

Welcome back to our weekly look at the new items in Pet Society on Facebook. This week we see new items that are all about Halloween and fashion in Pet Society. There are many new items in the shops this week, so let's get right down to it!

First, let's talk about fashion. The Pet Society Clothing Shop has some fabulous new items and accessories in black and white to go with any clothing design your pet might dream up. For the closet designers amongst us, the gadget shop has some great new items to help you out, including the Sewing Petnequin Décor - the Pet Society version of a dressmaker's mannequin! If you're looking to bring some style to your bed, bath or dressing room, there are some great new items including luminous dressing/make-up tables and lots of new make-up and beauty accessories.

By the way - it's been brought to my attention that there are a lot of people playing Pet Society who haven't realized that any new items marked 'luminous' will glow in the dark. All you have to do is buy a light switch in the DIY store, and once it's installed in a room you can use it to turn off the lights. Then your luminous items will really shine!

For our professional fisherpets, there's another great new item in the Pet Society Cash Shop - the Pro Fishing Vest. Wearing this vest improves your chances of catching the fish you're looking for. As an added bonus, if you wear all three pieces of pro fishing gear (glove, hat and vest) you'll be able to catch five new very special fish that have been added to the pond. Those without the gear will still be able to catch the new African Butterfly fish.

Speaking of fish, it's now possible to catch a Jack o' lantern fish when using a new homegrown pumpkin as bait. Pumpkins will grow from vegetable seeds available at the Pet Society Garden Shop.

Gosh! So many new items in Pet Society this week, and we haven't even talked about the Halloween items! There are luminous pumpkin lanterns, spider web clocks and so much more - see the price list below for details on all of Pet Society's new items. But don't forget to check the Mystery Shop for the new Bat Wing Potion - it's better than Red Bull!

Finally, for those of you on a budget, stop by the Luxury Shop and check out the clearance items - One week only, everything must go!
