Cape May, New Jersey. Youngsters in Cape May County and surrounding areas are encouraged to sign up early to avoid being left out of what promises to be another fun filled Zoo Camp in 2008. The Cape May Zoo Camp is open to children from K- Grade 8 and will run for week long sessions. Half day programs are presented from 9 a.m.- noon and from 1 p.m - 4 p.m. The cost of the program for a single week is $90. Zoo and animal related themes will be the center of all the action. Campers will take part in games, crafts, animal visits as they familiarize themselves with the animals and their habitats at the Cape May Zoo.
With 80 acres and more than 500 animals to explore, kids may find this the busiest week of the summer and the most fun too.

Bergen County, New Jersey. The Bergen County Zoo will offer zoo camp in 2008 for children from 5-15. Children will be divided for activities into groups by age. The zoo experience is a fun one for kids. Attendees get to do the kinds of things they often don't find time for during a seasonal visit with parents. Kids will tour the zoo, participate in up close encounters with select animals, enjoy crafts and play zoo and animal related games. During the week they will also be enriched by sharing with zoo staff about animal behavior, adaptations, conservation and habitats. For just $100 your child can spend Mon.-Fri, 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. and gather up some great summer fun, memories and knowledge.

Cohanzick Zoo, Bridgeton, NJ. During the month of July the Cohanzick Zoo will be just a little bit busier than usual thanks to the presence of campers for the annual Cohanzick Summer Zoo Camp. For children who are 5 - 14 years old who just happen to love animals and everything about a zoo, the opportunity to attend a summer zoo camp is really something special both to look forward to and remember.
