New Kaboom Foam-Tastic with Oxi-Clean Bathroom Cleaner: Product Review

Ever since I had seen the commercial on TV about New Kaboom Foam-Tastic Bathroom Cleaner, I wanted to try it and since I had a $1.00 off coupon for the product I decided to put it to the test.

New Kaboom Foam-Tastic Bathroom Cleaner comes in an aerosol can and has a spray nozzle to dispense the product. The aerosol can holds 19 ounces of bathroom cleaner. The neat concept of this product which appealed to me was the fact that when you first begin spraying the cleaner on to surfaces you want to clean, when it comes out of the can and hits the surfaces to clean, the color is a real pretty bright blue foam and you can even hear the foam working and within a minute, the foam turns white and is ready to wiped or rinsed off.

The foam cleans off soap scum great and all you do is rinse it off as long as the soap scum has not been there a week. But if the soap scum has been sitting there longer than a week, then you will need to wipe the foam cleaner off with a damp cloth. It does work but in order to really remove the soap scum residue, you will need to use a cloth to wipe it off the bathtub and shower. As long as your bathtub and shower does not have a lot of soap scum build-up that has been there several days, then you can just spray this on and then only need to rinse it off, but the longer the soap scum has been there, the more scrubbing you will need to do to be able to remove it.

The scent New Kaboom Foam-Tastic Bathroom Cleaner is scrumptious and does not have an overwhelming chemical odor to it. The scent of this bathroom cleaner smells sort of fruity to me and the air is not filled with a strong odor unlike most other bathroom cleaners leave behind. The product comes out of the can in a fine mist and coats the surfaces you want to clean in blue, fluffy foam. It's just so neat! You can use this cleaner all around your entire bathroom. It works great on toilets, bathtubs, showers, tile, sinks and even faucets! My bathroom faucets sparkler and shine after I rinse them off after using this product! I like the way this cleaner shines up the faucets and this bathroom cleaner did take off some of the gross on the tub and shower, but for heavy stains and soap scum build-up, it will take some deep scrubbing and a few more applications of this cleaner in order to get rid of the gunk. I could see some of the soap-scum and gunk on the cloth I used and that it did clean some of it off, so that is a good thing.

I would use this product for light soap scum-build-up and to use on the faucets in the bathroom, but not for heavy duty cleaning. I was a little disappointed with this product because based on the TV commercials advertising this product, I thought that it would remove built-up soap scum better, but it leaves a gross residue behind if there is a lot of soap- scum build-up.

I give New Kaboom Foam-Tastic Bathroom Cleaner four stars because this is a really neat product and does clean well to a certain point.
