New Lady Gaga, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Nicks and More Coming This May 2011

John Myers
After a busy couple of months on the new music scene, May looks to slow down a bit although several big names, including Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder and more look to add their newest into the mix. Check out what's in store for May:

May 3

Stevie Nicks - In Your Dreams

Former Fleetwood Mac singer and successful solo legend Stevie Nicks is releasing her first new album in ten years. The album features collaborations with Eurythmics' member Dave Stewart, among others, and the singer tells Spinner that it's the most fun she's ever had making a record. The lead single is called 'Moonlight' and it was inspired by the film 'New Moon.' Check out a trailer for it here .

Barry Manilow - Duets

In his more than 30 years in the recording industry, Barry Manilow has recorded duets with some of the best entertainers in show business, including Dionne Warwick, Bette Midler, Melissa Manchester, Sheena Easton, Barbra Streisand, and many more. This brand new collection of some of Barry's greatest duets doesn't contain all of them, but is indeed a varied sampling of some of his best. For a complete track listing, click here .

*Jennifer Lopez - Love

*Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Part 2

Both of these albums' releases have been pushed back from previous release dates and should become available this May.

May 9

Radiohead - The King of Limbs (CD)

Finally the CD version of the previously released digital album becomes available this May.

May 10

The Cars - Move Like This

Back in the 1980's, the Cars were one of the hottest bands in the land, but eventually their star fizzled and they were relegated into the annals of classic 80's music. Now, more than 23 years after they last put out anything new, the band has recently reunited to create an all new record. The first single, 'Blue Tip,' pretty much sounds like what you might expect from a modern version of the Cars. Check it out here .

May 17

Moby - Destroyed

Technotronic singer/songwriter/deejay/producer/musician Moby will be releasing his latest, 'Destroyed,' this May. It's his 10th studio album and his first since 2009's 'Wait for Me.' The deejay says this one's 'melodic and atmospheric and electronic,' much like many of his past recordings. Check out 'Sevastopol' right here.

May 23

Lady Gaga - Born This Way

One of the most anticipated albums of the year comes this May 23rd with the release of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way.' Already riding waves of controversy over the album's artwork (Lady Gaga appears demonic, complete with blood, a morbid expression, and the body of a motorcycle), as well as record-breaking success for the lead single 'Born This Way' and an already popular second single, 'Judas,' this one's sure to get a lot of attention! Check out Gaga's performance of 'Born This Way' from the recent Grammy Awards right here.

May 24

Billy Ray Cyrus - I'm American

Country music heartthrob Billy Ray Cyrus releases his 12th studio album, a collection of songs with a patriotic theme. The album was produced by Buddy Cannon and features a duet with country music legend Willie Nelson. Check out a live performance of the title track here.

May 31

Eddie Vedder - Ukulele Songs

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has been performing several original songs live over the years that were never released and now they're being presented together here as a brand new album. Featured tracks on the CD include a ukulele version of Pearl Jam's 2002 'Can't Keep' and a cover of an Everly Brothers' tune, 'Sleepless Nights.' A companion DVD of a live solo performance entitled 'Water on the Road' will be made available on the same day. Check out an audio track of the lead single, 'Longing to Belong' right here.

I saw Stevie Nicks in concert many years ago...loved her then and now. I believe that a song from her new album is dedicated to a fan she be-friended who died of cancer.
