New Lady Speed Stick Stainguard Antiperspirant/deodorant Doesn't Leave White Marks

Susan Slade
For 20 or more years by deodorant has been Arrid XX. Living in Florida it has always kept me dry and odor free. The only disadvantage this deodorant has is, that it leaves white stains on clothing.

A few weeks ago I was in CVS, and they had Lady Speed Stick on sale at $2.99, and when you paid at the register, you received $2 back in register coupons to spend, on your next visit. This was a factor in buying it, but on the cap it stated:

"Fights yellow stains and white residue."

For 99 cents it was an exciting bargain, that I couldn't wait to try. The deodorant is very feminine, with a pink/lilac color, and a deeper mauve/purple top. The net weight is 2.3 ounces (65 g). The fragrance is 'Daringly Fresh', and it lasts for 24 hours.

So after my shower, I pulled the cap off the deodorant. Beneath it is another clear plastic protector. I pulled that off and discarded it.

The first thing I noticed was the delicate powder fresh fragrance. I didn't even have to put it close to my nose to smell it. I then turned the wheel at the bottom of the deodorant, and the white solid deodorant, came up.

I lifted my arms and applied the Lady speed Stick deodorant to the underarms. It went on silky smooth. I put my arms down and could still smell the fresh fragrance.

I always worry about pulling my clothes over my head, and carefully lift a dark colored top away from my underarm area. So this time I just put my arms through, and pulled my dark brown top straight down.

I had no marks on my clothing.

I went walking after breakfast, did some housework, and exercise, and I stayed dry and fresh. I then went for my daily swim. With all other deodorants I re-apply my deodorant, but I decided not to, as it is a 24 hour one.

I went out in the evening, and danced. The Lady speed Stick Stainguard continued to work for me. I stayed dry, and fresh, even when I was Disco dancing with the ladies.

I have challenged this deodorant over the past few weeks, and it has not failed me. I love it so much that it will be the one I travel to England with. After all, leaving my home, going to the airport 3 hours before the flight, an 8 hour flight, getting through immigration, and customs, and then another 2 and a half hour drive at the other end, I need an antiperspirant that will last 24 hours.

Brenda it worked fine for me. You need to contact the manufacturer about it.

I used to use it. I have since switched to the natural stuff - like Tom's. It doesn't leave "white marks" and it probably won't keep you smelling as clean as Lady Speed Stick but it doesn't have any chemicals. Cheers, my friend, have a safe trip - Len will be fine while you're away :)
