New Listerine Quick Dissolving Whitening Strips

Niki
Being a BzzAgent, I get to sample some new products for free. A few weeks ago, I received some samples of the new Listerine Quick Dissolving Whitening Strips. After I did tried the samples I had to get a box.

What makes these whitening strips different is they dissolve in your mouth after like eight or ten minutes. With any other strips, you have to take them off.

They remind me of those dissolvable breath strips, but these are clear in color. The whitening ingredients are only on one side of the strip. There are little notches that you have either at the top left corner or bottom right corner, depending on whether you are putting it on the top or bottom teeth. With my dyslexia, I find it hard to remember where the notch is supposed to be when applying. I have to look at the instructional pictures on the package.

They stick to your teeth good, so try to align them right the first time by aligning the strips edge with your gum line, press and then fold behind your teeth. However, you can move it is not right, but you have to do it fast because they dissolve. Once the strips are on your teeth, they are activated, which releases the whitening agent and the dissolving process begins. I only downside that I have found to the dissolvable strips is you cannot drink anything while you are wearing them. The whitening is okay, but my teeth weren't really that stained to begin with. However I could see the change, so I am happy with the results and will use them again.

The strips are almost unnoticeable, even to you, the person wearing them (aside from the Winter Fresh gum like taste in your mouth). They kill germs that cause bad breath and are easy to work into your daily route. Making it more likely that you will actually use them for the full fourteen days (1 box), I say this because I still have half of another brands box sitting in my cabinet. I like to try new products, and when another "new" version came out, I would go buy it. My main complaint is the gel like paste that is left on your teeth and the hydrogen peroxide taste that takes over your mouth. These strips have neither of those problems.

Listerine created and dominated the mouthwash category for many years. It was used first as a surgical antiseptic; dentists discover they could use it as well in 1865. After making a variety of mouthwashes, Listerine has slowly branched out to other types of products. They sure hit a home run with these first dissolvable whitening strips, I am sure other will try to copy.

Strips retail for 23.99.

A short biography huh, well none of my stories are short and most people wouldn't believe them anyways. I had some crazy stuff happen to me. I'm a Cha Cha Guide, blogger, freelance writer/web designer,...  View profile

I'm rather confused that you've only given the product a 3 out of 5 with what seems to be an utterly glowing review.
