New Lunch Menu Introduced at Bistro 110

Although I've eaten at Bistro 110, located at 110 East Pearson in Chicago, I had not yet tried their newly introduced Bistro Express Lunch Menu that was launched on December 17, 2010. When we decided to go there to sample the new items, I was really still focused on the amazing French baguette bread that they give you which comes with warm roasted garlic clove spread, instead of the new menu. My focus quickly shifted, however, once I perused the menu. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to order, but finally decided on the Bistro Burger with the American-style French fries.

My boyfriend ordered the Tuna Panzanella, which I sampled, and was absolutely delicious. I'm not a seafood lover, but I loved it. The tuna was served with red onions, kalamata olives, greens, hard boiled egg and a garlicky vinaigrette dressing. My burger was one of the best I've eaten, and my potato leek soup was delectable and very filling. Our lunch choices were $15.95 each, which was reasonable, considering the large portion size and the quality of the food. Next time I go there for lunch, I plan on trying the Flat-Iron Steak Sandwich.
