New MacBook Pro Computers with Core I7 and Radeon GPU on the Way!

Apple has already released and announced lots of new models which they are selling or still going to sell. The one sounding even more promising than the other. Of course, Apple simply want to keep up with their big competitor: Microsoft. Well, of course, it couldn't really take long before Apple would also bring models to the 'high end' computer market. I'm talking about really strong and fast gaming machines. Well, maybe not really strong, but I'm really talking about systems with a strong CPU, a nice amount of RAM and a decent graphics card. There are a lot of clues that tell us that Apple is going to release new MacBook Pro computers onto the market. The new MacBook computers would have mobile Core i7 processors and ATI Radeon Mobility GPUs from the 4500 series. Pretty high end if you ask me!

In a certain configuration file from the Mac OS X 10.6.2 update 'c' with buildnumber 10C531 there are certain parts of text referring to MacBook Pro models with the names 6_1 and 6_2. The latest MacBook pro models that Apple has released, have the names 5_1 and 5_5. The new models would be equipped with quadcores from intel, according to the Spanish Apple website, Applesana. This website also says that the most logical choice for a new quadcore MacBook CPU would be a model from the Core i7 line of Intel.

The user 'roisoft' of the website Applesana does also publish a screenshot from the configuration file with a recently added reference to the ATI4500Controller.kext. The new iMac models which were released earlier this October, are going to be equipped with the ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics card, so the reference to a 4500 model would tell us that the new models will also be equipped with a graphics card from this Radeon line by AMD. Of course, this is all still a bit of speculation, but I think that most things are going to be proven to be true in the near future. The MacBook Pro laptopts that Apple released in June, hold Core 2 Duo processors and Nvidea video chips.

Of course, Apple hasn't confirmed any of these speculations yet, but I don't think that it will take long before they respond. These configuration files were there for a reason, and Apple just has to admit that their system had a flaw. I'm curious when we are going to see these new models on our market!
