New Miami Heat Main Dish LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers Derek Fisher Dessert?

Miami is Turning Up the Heat!

Lori Lane
Dream team in heat? Miami Heat has gained LeBron's heart, by multiple digits. However, that's not the only NBA free agent star that will warm things up. Derek Fisher of Los Angeles Lakers just may be the next player to watch for. Why?

Sources tell TMZ that Derek Fisher has been approached by various Heat organization members. A deal could seal Fisher - if sweet enough. And if so, prepare for a mild to low backlash. Fisher is eclipsed by Lakers favorite Kobe Bryant. We doubt Fisher's jerseys will suffer the same fate as the jerseys of LeBron James - ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

Surrounding the latest Fisher news some believe Miami Heat will crumble, at half court. Others chalk it up as an upcoming winning team, one to be proud of. Let's see what they bring to the floor, to the hoop.

This week alone has been a firestorm of heated drama. Ever since LeBron went on air and annouced his departure from Cleveland Cavaliers to Miami Heat there has been a jersey burning, name calling, not-so-pleasant letter from Cavalier owner Dan Gilbert, and lack of support from others, including former team players and fans. Turn to LeBron James Brings Heat to Miami for more.

Today support spread for LeBron's decision. According to Essence Kanye West supports LeBron. Although scroll down to find the only comment posted. "Thugs supporting thugs."

On the flipside Gilbert's rough letter is slowly losing support. LeBron's decision is growing hotter in support. In return it can seem less than walking on coals for Fisher - should he actually take a deal from the Miami organization.

We all must remember, this is America, land of the free agents. Freedom of choice, when the contract runs out.

I had no sympathy for James or Gilbert, but I think the NBA's decision to fine Gilbert $100,000 is just plain wrong.
