New M&M's Pretzel: Product Review

Bandit
M&M's appeared in the USA back in 1941 and is manufactured by the Mars Corporation. They come in bright colors: red, blue, green, yellow, brown and orange. They are tiny and round and all have a candy-coated shell with a lower case "m" that is printed on one side. M&M's come in different varieties: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, crisped rice, mint chocolate, peanuts, almonds, orange chocolate, coconut, wild cherry, and peanut butter, and now new pretzel.

New M&M's Pretzel is coated in a candy shell, just like the others are. They are also round like M&M 's peanuts, but they are not as fat. These M&M's have a tiny little pretzel stuffed inside of them and they are sweet, salty and crunchy.

When you first pop one of these new M&M's in your mouth and bite into the candy, you hear the crunching of the pretzel, and you can taste the chocolate. The saltiness of the pretzel mixes in with chocolate and when you finish the piece of candy, there is a slight aftertaste left in my mouth. The chocolate that is in new M&M's pretzel is not as good and chocolaty as that of plain M&M's.

The combination of sweet chocolate and the salty taste of a pretzel that is inside of this new candy is just not one that I care for. New M&M's pretzel candy is okay if you like a sweet and salty combination in a snack. The aftertaste left in my mouth after eating these new M&M's reminds me of how a piece of dark chocolate taste which I do not like at all.

If I had my choice between plain M&M's or M&M's pretzel, I would always choose plain milk chocolate M&M's. I jut do not like salt in my chocolate and these new M&M's are a little too salty for my taste preference. The plain milk chocolate M&M's are so much better and have that milk chocolate flavor to them that I love!

I give New M&M's Pretzel three stars.
