New Moms Need Help!

Thinking of being a mom when I was pregnant did make me very nervous. Would I know what to do when the baby cries? How will I know what he needs? Better yet how do I take care of him? These were all questions that I had when I was expecting. My friend had a baby not to long before I had my son so I had instant practice. She worked from home but many times had conference calls so I would go over to her place and help her by watching her son.

This was great way for me to get some experience on how to handle a baby and care for it. I thank my friend so much for letting me use her baby as my real life play doll! My favorite times watching the baby was when he was need a nap and I would put him to bed and being a pregnant woman, I would also fall a sleep with the baby. My sister was my other savior. When I had my son she was staying with us for some time and she really helped me when my son would cry and I had no idea what to do. I felt like a deer in headlights. My sister also just kept me on a positive emotional note and assured me this was normal and how she thought I would really make a good mom. Well here I am 6 months later, I don't know it all but I do know what my baby needs from me.
