VICTORIA, CANADA - Februrary 7, 2009. The Victoria Times Colonist reported that the casting director for New Moon was turning away actors unless the were 100% First Nations. A comment left on the newspaper's website from Runningbox says "I am so offended, who is 100% first Nations? I was supporting sending my son to the auditions who is mixed First Nations and White. What If I'm Fair, Blond With Blue Eyes?

It would be tempting to think if you just showed up you might be discovered but Dakota Fanning is already being tapped for a part in the movie. Sure, you could try to dye your hair and get a fake tan, but unless you have distinct native american features, you're just wasting your time and the producer's time. While it can be tempting just to want to get close to the Twilight Production and Robert Pattinson, it is unlikely any of the film's stars will be attending the auditions. However, if you're in the Vancouver area, come March through May, you can certainly stake out where they'll be filming the Twilight Sequel and try to catch a glimpse of RPattz, et.al when they come to town.

You don't need to have any acting or performing experience. You must be prepared to take part in a speaking part in the Twilight Sequel.

Set aside the entire day to audition for the Twilight Sequel. The open casting call will take place in the morning from 9 am-noon. Actors and actresses who are under serious consideration will return in the afternoon for a callback.

What Do I Need to Bring to the Audition?

Just bring yourself. If you make it to the callback of the Twilight Movie Sequel open casting call, you will be given script material to prepare for your Twilight Movie Sequel audition to present in the afternoon.

Will it Cost Anything to Audition for the Twilight Movie Sequel?

Is this one of those talent agency scams where they try to get young actors and actresses to pay money to audition? For people from out of town who are planning to fly or drive to the audition, Vancouver is considered Hollywood North and has an active film community where many major motion pictures are filmed.
