DECEMBER 3 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
Black Swan: This psychological thriller about rival ballerinas (Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis) garners film festival awards and David Letterman's pick for Best Actress (Portman). It's rated R for sex and violence.
All Good Things: Based on a famous unsolved murder and billed as a perfect love and perfect crime with Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst, this new film is rated R for drugs, violence and sex.
I Love You Phillip Morris: Even a gay con artist named Phillip Morris can find love even if it's in prison. This light comedy with Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor is rated R for sex and language.
DECEMBER 10 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
The Tempest: Prospero (Helen Mirren) switches genders in the brave new world of director Julie Taymor. Strong performances (Mirren, Felicity Jones) compensate for any stylistic inconsistencies with a PG-13 rating for some nudity and scares.
The Tourist: What becomes of the broken hearted? Johnny Depp runs to Italy and runs into Angelina Jolie in this thriller directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (Lives of Others). This new film is rated PG-13 for violence.
The Company Men: Sundance audiences voiced disappointment with this tale of corporate downsizing. Starring Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper and Tommy Lee Jones with an R rating for language and nudity.
The Fighter: Boxer Mickey Ward (Mark Wahlberg) gets trained by his brother (Christian Bale). Variety says it misses the big picture but it's energetic with an R rating for language and violence.
DECEMBER 17 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
TRON: Legacy: Kevin Flynn's (Jeff Bridges) son tries to save him in the cyber universe. Disney's marketing looks as fierce as the game. No rating yet.
Rabbit Hole: Based on the Tony Award winning play by David Lindsay-Abaire, a couple (Nicole Kidman, Aaron Eckhart) loses their son in an accident. Audiences say it's like Ordinary People with more comedy. This new film is rated PG-13 for mature themes.
DECEMBER 24 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
True Grit: Spend Christmas with the Coen Brothers in an adaption with Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Hailee Steinfeld.
The Illusionist: Based on an unmade Jacques Tati script, critics give this animated film mixed reviews.
Somewhere: More Sofia Coppola and bad parenting.
Little Fockers: More fockers.

Post a Commentcan't wait for the new Johnny Depp movie ;) Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for the update... not that any of these sound very appealing.
As a boy, I enjoyed the trailers more than the feature.... short attention span! I still like them until I have seen them too many times!
