New Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs Honey Maid Delight Bars - Cheesecake - Product Review

I couldn't resist getting them when I spotted Nabisco's New Cheesecake flavored 100 Calorie Packs Honey Maid Delight Bars
on the grocery store shelf. They were available in 2 varieties: Cheesecake and Chocolate, though the Chocolate were more of a fudge bar. The picture of the chocolate fudge bars on the Honey Maid box looked wonderful, and normally I would not have hesitated in reaching for the chocolate variety, but at the time I'd actually been fighting a craving for cheesecake.
I don't crave cheesecake often, but when I do I'm usually satisfied with just one small slice and the rest goes to waste. You can sometimes find small, cut slices of cheesecake in some grocery stores, but many times they don't look very appealing and often cost the same, if not more than this 5.88-oz, 6 pack snack box! Also, that single cut away slice of real cheesecake would most likely have at least 3 times the calorie content of one of these .98-oz individually wrapped snack bars!

In the car leaving the market I tore open the box of Nabisco New Cheesecake 100 Calorie Packs Honey Maid Delight Bars and unwrapped one. I was hit with the delightful, 'cheesecake' smell of graham crackers, vanilla, and lemon flavors! I was worried that the bars would be very hard and the 'cheesecake' filling would be sort of a tough, stiff, gel-like consistency. I'm glad to say that I was wrong! The bars were soft and not at all overly sweet. I could taste the individual flavors of the honey graham crust, the vanilla flavor of the filling, and the lemony taste of the swiggle on top of the filling! It was yummy, and satisfied my craving for cheesecake!

Nabisco's New Cheesecake flavored 100 Calorie Packs Honey Maid Delight Bars were also something I didn't feel bad about eating because they had no high fructose corn syrup! They were, of course high in carbs, with a moderate to low amount of fat and only 2grams of protein but they footed the need at hand and were certainly a much more 'Sensible Solution' to the 'real' thing! Now, I can't wait to go back and try out the Nabisco's New Chocolate flavored 100 Calorie Packs Honey Maid Delight Bars.
