New Orleans Saints Will Defeat the New England Patriots and Remain Undefeated

Fans Will Make the Difference

Who's going to win the game tonight between the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots? There is barely a difference as far as the line goes. I think it is a four-point swing with the Saints being favored by 2 points in most but not all quarters. Will the Patriots win the game with the Saints? Will the Saints win the game with the Patriots?

What will the final score be?

Is it going to be a shoot out? It is going to be a defensive battle? Is it going to be a chess match?

Of course you have three players for the New England patriots that are astounding. They are Tom Brady, Wes Welker and Randy Moss.

A sneaky statistic on the Patriot's side is the fact that they have won 17 straight against regular season NFC teams.

Admittedly, at least in my opinion the Saints don't have fireworks for fireworks. That is they don't have the established expectations. However, in my opinion they have the talent.

Drew Brees has a little statistic himself. He has a 2-0 record versus NE.

The Saints have a very good receiver in Marques Colston and have good running backs in Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush and Mike Bell.

The Patriot's back Maroni isn't quite as snazzy as he has been.

Face it both teams have plenty of talent to beat you. Neither team has the dominating defense to assure victory.

But what is gong to happen? What is the difference? We will know in about five hours or less.

Will the Saints be 11-0 or 10-1?

I've fed my computer and gazed into the stars. I've tried to keep my heart and prayers out of it but I can't.

I can't make myself do anything but root against Bill Bilichick.

Perhaps that is the thing. When I look at the two organizations I see a group of stars as part of a several-year dynasty and on the other side I see a "team."

However I'm begging the question. The team is going to beat the gaggle of stars. Why and how are they going to do this?

The Saints will have a better mix of passing and running. There will be too much reliance on passing for Brady. Also, I fully believe that the New Orleans fans will not let them lose. It is that simple.

Final Score: New Orleans 41, New England 31.
