Your pet's flight experience starts when you drop them off at the counter of Pet Airways. They have an area where the pets are cared for and even walked if there is some time lapse before the flight. This is also true on the other end of your pets destination. Flight delay from your airline? No problem, pets are watered, feed, walked and cared for while waiting for their owners to retrieve them.

Pet Airways serves five US cities, with plans to expand very soon to many more. There are plans to offer this air service in Canada within the very near future. The cities they fly to now are - NYC, Denver, Chicago, LA, and Washington DC.

Flights start at $149 dollars for a one way trip. Depending on the length of your stay, this can be about as much as you would pay to board your pet in a kennel for the duration of your vacation. This is a service that can be used when adopting or purchasing a pet from someplace far away from your home.
