It was in the November 2007, Rolls Royce introduced the first Phantom Drophead Coupe convertible with the price tag of Rs 3.1 crore in India. The new Phantom was expected enter the Indian car market in 2008, but was postponed.
Rolls Royce re-entered India in 2005 after a gap of 50 years and till date has sold 41 units last four years. The company is also planning to launch another less expensive model called Rolls-Royce 4 to India by 2010, which will be price lower than base model of Phantom Coupe.
