Every month new products hit the market to capture a share of the U.S. consumer purchasing power. Not to be overlooked, here are a few technological candidates that could make life easier for some of you and make you look more beautiful.

180-Degree Digital Surveillance Camera - powered by five fixed sensors, similar to the kind used in cell phone camera design and mounted on a wall plate the size of a light switch the Digital Window D7 Camera transmits video at 15 frames per second and also forwards, every few seconds, the 5 different photographed angles stitched together into a 7-mega ixel, 180-degree panoramic still image of the area under surveillance. Made by Scallop Imaging, the Digital Window D7 Camera costs between $600 and $1000 and is an easy answer for solving surveillance needs on a low budget. An Ethernet connection device, adding it into your existing system should be a breeze.

3D WebCam - Online Video Chat is going 3D, and Promotion and Display Technology has introduced the first 3-D Webcam to keep pace. Sitting atop an easy to adjust tripod character, the Minoru 3D Webcam consists of two digital cameras spaced apart approximately the same distance as human eyes. The two digital cameras transmit two offset images to the computer it is chatting with. Minoru 3D Webcam software processes the images in real time according to how they will be viewed. The software driver output images in the format viewable on the new 3D computer display monitors that are currently being marketed, however for 3D viewing on regular monitors; the camera comes with 5 pair of Red-Blue 3-D glasses. The Minoru 3D Webcam which is compatible with all the leading webcam applications and networks suggested retail price is $89.95.

Portable Fuel Cell Charger - About the same size as a bar of soap, which makes it ideal for backpackers and travelers, the 24/7 Power Pack can charge an iPod or cell phone, or other low watt, battery power appliance up to 6 or 7 times. Activated by squeezing and shaking the unit to generate a powered chemical reaction which creates a harmless by-product similar to soapy water, the 24/7 Power Pack generates 20 watt hours of energy that will last for two or three months. The 24/7 Power Pack retails for $49.99 for the initial power pack that also consists of the units power cords while the replacement cartridges will retail for $24.99.

Eyelash Lengthener - Developed for glaucoma, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently approved Latisse, which promotes eyelash growth. Applied by dabbing it along the base of the eyelashes, daily application will produce long, thick eyelashes without the need to use messy mascara. Latisse effects will wear off if not used regularly. Available by prescription Latisse has the following side effects; eye redness, itchy eyes, and discoloration of the eyelids. A 30 day supply of Latisse cost approximately $120.
