New Racy Miley Cyrus Photos: Is the Hannah Montana Star the Next Britney Spears?

New racy photos, supposedly of Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, are rumored to show the young starlet in her underwear posing in typical seductive Myspace positions. Some have speculated that the photos may be photoshopped. Regardless of whether or not the Hannah Montana star in fact took photos of herself in her underwear, why are we so obsessed with turning good girls bad?

Before these new pictures surfaced, there was a big ruckus about some Miley Cyrus photos that the Hannah Montana star took with a friend at a sleepover that some thought were a little too racy for a 15 year-old Hannah Montana star.

Miley Cyrus, drawn into the spotlight because of her famous father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and her hit show Hannah Montana, seems to be just another victim of a public that is overly eager to prove that no one is perfect.

I think that the public is especially after the reputations of stars that make a point of going against the multiple rehab trip, doing lines in the bathroom, no panty wearing, sex tape having crowd, like the Hannah Montana star has. It seems that stars, like Miley Cyrus, would be better off putting anything about themselves that could be considered scandalous out there right of the bat, rather than waiting for someone to discover it.

I don't see Miley Cyrus as the next Britney Spears, but then again, I didn't see Britney Spears as an up and coming case for psychiatric speculation.

I know that most parents probably don't want to hear this, but teenage girls about the age of Miley Cyrus, often take "racy" photos with their girlfriends and make jokes about sex. I guess it is their way of dealing with the transition from being an innocent girl to being a sexual being, and I say sexual being because those hormones do sometimes lead their minds to the gutter.

Just like guyfriends may joke with one another about being gay, girlfriends will joke with one another in a similar sexual manner, which is what I see going on in the Hannah Montana star's first batch of "racy" Miley Cyrus photos.

I don't think the first batch of Miley Cyrus photos of the Hannah Montana star mean that she is a lesbian or a rebel in the making. I don't think that the supposed Miley Cyrus photos of the Hannah Montana star in her underwear mean that she will be gracing the pages of Playboy as soon as she turns 18. I do think that the Miley Cyrus photos mean that she is a normal 15 year-old girl who is pushing the line between girl and woman, just like most 15 year-old girls will. I don't think the Hannah Montana star took these pictures to post them on her Myspace page, I think she was playing around with the idea of being sexy, like most girls her age do.

I hope for Miley Cyrus's sake that the second batch of photos are in fact doctored, otherwise she is definitely going to have some PR work ahead of her to save the image of both Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana. I also hope that the little girls of America haven't just lost one of the few remaining role models they had in Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus.
