New Rebecca Black Song: LOL

Rebecca Black Recording Follow-Up Single

Love her or hate her, Rebecca Black has carved herself a prominent spot in the public eye. Rebecca Black is infamous for singing the Friday song that received nearly one hundred views on YouTube in a matter of weeks. Produced by a record label known as ARK Music Factory, the Rebecca Black Friday song is well known for its poorly-written lyrics and excess use of auto-tune. Although YouTube users have been harassing Rebecca Black (including a user who left a comment suggesting that Rebecca Black get an eating disorder because it would make her "prettier") most of the blame for the song's low quality should be placed on the shoulders of ARK Music Factory, which developed the lyrics and heavily altered the natural Rebecca Black voice. In fact, Rebecca Black proved that she does have talent when she sang the National Anthem for a television interview. Rebecca Black sang beautifully, and without the use of editing and auto-tune.

Hoping to capitalize on her fame with a song that the public will actually like, Rebecca Black is recording a new hit called "LOL." Based on the title, I don't anticipate that the LOL song will be any better than the Friday song. The catch phrase for the LOL song is "My BFF makes me LOL." Yes, even these lyrics are better than the Friday song lyrics ("partying, partying (yeah!) partying, partying (yeah!) fun, fun, fun, fun..."etc.), but they are far from stellar. The one promising factor in the new LOL song is that it isn't being recorded by ARK Music Factory. Instead, Rebecca Black decided to switch to Flying Pig Productions in Los Angeles. Hopefully, Flying Pig Productions will do more justice to the voice of Rebecca Black than ARK Music Factory.
