Many experts say it's best to practice relaxation for at least 20 minutes per day. Initially, practicing the below given relaxation technique may seem awkward. But, in time, and with practice, you'll feel a lot comfortable with the practice and the results.

First of all search for a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. Take a position like you are being the most relaxed person like lying down on the floor by keeping your hands on your side's comfortably .Close your eyes and begin focusing on your body. Slowly inhale in through your nose and out through your mouth. When thoughts and imaginations started to make place in your mind, allow them to do so, and then let them go away as you bring your focus back to your breathing. Fully experience each exhale. Go for this kind of expiration for about 6 minutes.

Now shift your focus onto your body. Starting it up with your feet, tighten the muscles in your feet and toes, hold them tight for few seconds, and then release the tense and allow your feet relax. Next, focus it on your calves. Tighten the muscles in your calves, hold them tense for a few seconds, then release the tension and let your calves relax. Keep repeating this through all of your almost all muscle groups as you move your attention up your body. Tense your thighs, hold, and then relax. Move to your chest, hands, arms, shoulders, and finally your face.

I am sure that you will feel better after this session for sure!
