New Restriction Prevents Bum Marketing from Being Used on Associated Content

You Can't Do that on Associated Content!

Recently, while I've submitted my previous article "The Missing Ingredient of Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich'", just before submitting it, there was something new that was added that I haven't noticed before: along with copyright-infringement and plagiarism that leads to being tossed out for life and from Associated Content, that also includes rewriting other articles and submitting them as original.

Now I've been reading about Bum Marketing for a few months, and this method is like Article Marketing 2.0 re-invented by an internet marketer named Travis Sago. This method of marketing involves finding a profitable, most popular niche or category, writing 300-word to 500-word articles (especially rewriting other people's articles in lightning-fast speeds for filling and flooding the article directories) based on a niche that is not only profitable, but also most popular, finding keywords that are rarely used but related to the niche or category, finding affiliate links to place in the "About the Author" or Resource Box, and placing them in popular article directories such as EzineArticles, GoArticles, and Associated Content...until now on the third one, and especially not directly in the first one.

You see, doing bum marketing is simple enough. As of this writing, submitting articles with affiliate links to GoArticles is allowed. Doing the same thing with EzineArticles is expressly stomped on, unless you have a blog that doesn't look like an affiliate link. If it's a blog that has an affiliate link with lots of content to make up for it, then it might be okay. As for Associated Content, I don't know about allowing affiliate links in their articles, but re-writing other people's articles and submitting them as original, that's a line that you should NEVER EVER cross if you want to stay in the only place that is free to join, and pays you good money for TRUE, original articles written by you, and only you. Long story short, rewriting other people's articles and submitting them as original works is a grave mistake, and when you're told to "hit the road" by AC, so much for your online income. Can't hit the reset button and get a second chance on AC. It's "Game Over" for you. So if you don't want to say bye-bye to your shot at making good money and being creative doing so for free, then find other article directories to do your bum marketing hobby and making money doing so.

Ezinearticles is the biggest article directory favored by Google, yet you can't put any affiliate links. Likewise, Associated Content is the most profitable article directory that is free to join, yet you can't rewrite other people's articles, slap on an affiliate link and flood it completely. They have their own "Terms of Service", their own rules, their own fine print that tells you what you can do and what you can't do. If an article directory is popular, then you don't need a magnifying glass to read the fine print anyway. Just simply be careful not to step on those violation minefields they laid out for those goofy, foolhardy and/or crazy enough to break the rules, because if you step on one, and I MEAN one...

...-KA-BOOM!!!

Well said. There are plenty of sites for that sort of tactics, but happily AC is not one of them. Keep writing!!
