New Safeway Opening in Sunnyvale

There is a brand new Safeway open in Sunnyvale. This new shopping delight opened Friday November 12, 2010. It replaced the older and much smaller Safeway located at the corner of Wolfe Road and Old San Francisco Road, which just recently closed last week. The newer, larger and more up to date Safeway is now located at 150 E El Camino in Sunnyvale. I will miss the old Safeway but am excited about having a newer, more modern one just up the street.

The new location has Toys R Us/Babies R Us, PetCo and many new restaurants as neighbors. PepBoys is also in the same parking lot.

Check your mail. Safeway has sent out mailers with the new Safeway Club Card that gives you 10% off your purchase for 30 days.
