Sonny With a Chance
"Sonny With a Chance" will be airing on the Disney Channel this February. Sonny, moves with her mom from Wisconsin to Los Angeles to shoot a sketch comedy show called "So Random." The show will be based around Sonny and meeting new friends and getting along with the other stars of the sketch comedy show, all while trying to handle moving with her mom to a new place. This seems like a good show to watch as a family as you know that younger children can watch it and also the older ones since Sonny is a teenager. It seems like it would be another Disney show like Hannah Montana that will appeal to many children, while adults can enjoy it also.
The Yet Untitled Amy Poehler Show
This new spring TV show will star "Saturday Night Live's" Amy Poehler and will premier in April. There has been no official word on an actual name for the show yet. If you are a fan of Amy Poehler, then you know that you are going to like this show. I'm guessing that it is going to be a hit just like 30 Rock. It most likely will be a show for the older members of the family, so you may want to rule this show out if you have young children or wait until they go to bed to watch it.
The Goode Family
This spring tv show will air this spring on the ABC channel. "The Goode Family" is an animated TV show that follows around a family that tries to do only good things. They don't eat meat, they recycle, and they try to improve the environment and earth. What happens though is the family always encounters some obstacle that turns into a comical event. This is another family TV show for the older members of the family, as it may be too intense for younger children. But if you have teenagers at home, this may a show that you can all watch together and have a laugh with.
Sit Down, Shut Up
This new animated comedy will air on the FOX network this spring. This show follows around 8 high school teachers in a small Florida town and everything that ensues with their unusual lives. There is a unique twist on every teacher on the show. This is yet another new animated series that appears to appeal to the older children, such as teenagers. Families may get a kick out of watching this and thinking about their own teachers at school and what they are really like when they are not in the classroom.
Howie Do It
This new comedy show airs on NBC. It comes out slightly before the other sprint tv shows, but it is a show that the whole family can watch. It's basically a blooper's show in which Howie Mandel sets people up and fools them in a akward situation. It's a TV show that the whole family can laugh at and enjoy.
