I followed my weekly advertisement paper received in the mail to join in the Grand Opening hoopla last week at Sprouts. Huge sales and a few freebies brought in crowds. The line to the checkout was almost a 30 minute wait. People were stacked into the lines throughout the store all the way to the back entrance. I got a free reusable grocery bag at the checkout and was entered to win a rebate certificate for my total purchase amount. The great buys here were the dollar items. Specials like their original aroma soaps, store brand cereals, and choice produce were all one dollar. It was worth going out to see this big event.
The staff there was enthusiastic about the big day. Everyone I talked to was helpful and friendly. I would compare this place to a few other stores including the Central Market. Heavy competing in the city for quality grocers brought on the 7 am opening with even more free food to be given away. I noticed when in line that one clerk was already refilling the bulk trail mixes from high volume demands of the day.
Best of all is the selection of gluten free, vegan, organic, and whole grain products on the shelves. I found helpful guides on the Sprouts website explaining the various uses for this kind of diet. Since I have started a new diet, I am curious to get health conscious and learn about new products. This store was full of surprises for me. The brand names with nutritiously aimed ideas their foods are all there. This is all new to me, just like this store.
Sprouts Farmers Market is now officially open and operating from 7am to 10pm. Go and look around for great values in their fresh products. I recommend a trip out to Sprouts for produce, nutritional supplements, and special diet needs. Be sure to sign up on their website to get coupons and newsletters at www.sprouts.com, or call before go to: 682-747-5790.
