Fear Factor
A game that I believe will be popular amongst the kids is a game that is similar to the hit TV show, Fear Factor. As opposed to having them eat alligator eyes, cow brains, and snake skin like Fear Factor uses, why don't you use harmless, everyday foods? Spaghetti sauce, whipped cream, onions, jell-o, raisins, chocolate fudge, those types of things, are good substitutes.
Summer Camp Olympics
Another game I think will be a hit is a Summer Camp Olympics. Dedicate a week to this, and have new events every day, like swimming, rock-climbing, and mud-wrestling. You could even make it more kid-friendly by having a who can eat the pie the fastest, or who could do the most jumping jacks type of thing. You should also incorporate sports that require teamwork, like relay races, soccer etc. As a prize you could give the winners candy, ice cream, or a pizza party as well as a medal. You can get fake gold, silver, and bronze medals from your local party store.
Water Day
Back when I was at camp, water days were my favorite things to have. At water day, you come in your bathing suit and you bring your water guns and balloons. We had massive water fights that were a lot of fun. We also had one of those dunk tanks, that you often see at carnivals; the ones where if you aim and hit the giant button with a ball, the person sitting on the ledge would immediately get dunked into the pool of water. Dunk tanks are very inexpensive to rent, at most they would cost a couple hundred bucks a day, but they are unbelievably fun, and the kids would definitely come back to do it again.
Tea Party
A tea would appeal to the younger children, especially the girls. You could have them get dressed up and bring their favorite stuffed animal. You could set up a table with doilies and serve biscuits and warm apple cider. I'm positive that the children would very much enjoy this.
