I am sure glad that I did. This makeup is just plain great. It's light enough to wear under regular makeup and yet provides enough coverage to be worn alone. It does an excellent job in hiding blemishes, dark spots, and scars. It also does a good job minimizing the appearance of tired looking eyes and dark circles/bags. What I like best about this product is that it comes right out of the bottle, no wand or tiny applicator needed to apply. This saves me a lot of time.
This is great for oily/combination and acne prone skin types. First of all, it's oil free. It also does a superb job in voiding off shine throughout the day. I didn't really have the need to touch up any of my makeup during the day and didn't feel uncomfortable not doing so. This formula also contains SPF 17 sunscreen further protecting your face from sun damage that could lead to more skin problems.
Does the color really match? It matches pretty close, but not enough to make it look really natural. Yet, it's still decent enough to pass without looking "fake" or garish. It could be because my aim was to find a shade that I could double up as a concealer so I selected a shade that was lighter than my regular makeup. If I were looking for a shade just to use as a makeup alone then I would have selected a shade that was one darker shade up. The color selection is made simple with three different color groups, each with two to three different intensities to better match your skin tone.
My only real complaint is the price. It usually retails for about $10.50 which is pretty pricey for a 1.0 fl oz bottle. Luckily, since L'Oreal Paris is such a well-known brand, its products are widely accessible for purchase at mass merchandise stores such as Wal-mart and Target, drugstores such as CVS, and beauty stores such as ULTA. These stores sometimes have sales such as "Buy One Get One Free" or other price reductions. Other than the price, this makeup is definitely a keeper for me for now.
