History of the Apple iPhone
The day finally arrive on June 29, 2007. The first iPhone went on sale after months of anticipation. Starting at $499 for a 4 Gb model the price dropped to $180 by the end of the year.
The iPhone 3G became available about a year later on June 11, 2008. Just three weeks later Apple had sold a million units. June 24th 2010 marks the date that the Apple iPhone 4 was added to the Apple inventory. Verizon customers are doomed to wait a long time for the device.
When will the iPhone be available from Verizon?
Verizon's press release proclaimed existing Verizon customers may pre-order an iPhone on-line starting on February 3rd. New customers can pre-order starting on February 10 either in-store or on-line.

Video calls, HD video, MicroSIM cards, and thousands of apps. Just a few reasons the popularity of the Apple iPhone is on the rise. The 3.5 inch widescreen, multi touch display, and 800:1 contrast ratio supply a few more reasons to choose this device.

Verizon's Price vs. AT&T
Price for the iPhone 4 model is comparable among both carriers. Staring at $199 for the 16 Gb model and $299 for 32 Gb. Data plans will be announced soon. AT&T still offers the 3G model for $49.
Hotspot Feature
Turns your iPhone into a WiFi Hotspot. The Hotspot allows connection of up to five devices. Droid users have enjoyed having Hotspot capability for a long time. The Verizon iPhone has a special OS version that allows the Hotspot to be created.
Conclusion
It will be great to see how well the Hotspot thing works out. Since the Verizon iPhone uses a 4G connection and supplies 3G connections to the Hotspot it should work as well as normally expected.
The main winner of the Verizon iPhone vs. the AT&T iPhone in reality is the Apple Corporation. The new Verizon iPhone is a clear winner waiting to happen. Apple's sales of the iPhone devices is set to take off to a new level.

I've decided to reduce-tech. I eliminated my cell phone. We have one for the family for emergencies, only. Now if I could only find a simplified toaster that simply toasts bread... I'm sure most others are aided in choosing a phone by your article.
